24 Heures Motonautiques

April 28th - May 1st

Rouen, France

24 heures motonautiques is the largest event of endurance power-boating in the world. It’s the international world championships and is held yearly in Rouen. The race lasts 24 hours, hence the name, but is separated in two sessions. The first session beginning on April 30th at 10am and ending at 1am, and the second beginning on May 1st at 7am, leaving a 6 hour resting period in between. This way the pilots and the spectators can rest a bit and continue watching the race afterwards. I worked alongside Dronemenciel and Com1Film who were hired to make a film for The Viking Inshore Club and Team Marine Inshore. I did all of the photography for this project. Here is my own little picture story from the weekend.
