Walk on

Dave Drulias’ ability to communicate with horses has saved the lives of a countless number of wild, misplaced or unneeded breeds and prepares horse owners for a loving, responsible, and understanding relationship with their animal. After his daughter married and moved away, Dave’s empty nest syndrome left him without hope; until he met Brandon, a young autistic boy. Walk On shares the life of a man who discovers his ability to communicate with horses can be used in helping children with disabilities.

Because We Can, Because We Care offers free equine therapy to children with disabilities and fallen soldiers.

Community

After loosing her brother in a drive by shooting, Anja Reyes found healing through speaking with others who were in similar circumstances. Out of their need to gain support from others, Parents Of Murdered Children was formed. This story describes the benefit of family activism as well as the need for a community to come together in order to, not only prevent violence, but to spread peace through culture, arts, and education.
